TNG Wells Park Youth Venue shortlisted for NLA Awards 2011

June 15th, 2011 by Russell Curtis

Following new of our shortlisting in the Housing Design Awards last week, we’re delighted to announce that our design for a new world-class youth venue in Lewisham has been shortlisted for the inaugural New London Architecture Awards 2011.

Peter Murray, chair of New London Architecture, “The New London Awards shortlist provides an impressive benchmark for new architecture in London and a significant new resource for the ‘urban alliance’ of developers, agencies and local authorities who are involved in delivering change in the city. The New London Awards are more than a prize – they represent a powerful medium through which we can promote the best in the capital’s architecture to a wide audience”.

Funded by the government’s MyPlace scheme, the project is due to start on site in the summer, ready for completion in the second half of 2012, and will provide a range of vocational and leisure activities for the young people of Lewisham.
