Hampstead House Extension Submitted for Planning
July 9th, 2010 by Russell Curtis
We’ve recently submitted our plans for an exciting contemporary extension to a house in Hampstead, London Borough of Camden. The scheme has been developed to respond to the sensitive location within a conservation area whilst providing space for a growing family, opening the rear of the house to the garden, and improving the ingress of natural light to the ground floor spaces.
The works will include a new basement, together with extensive reconfiguration of the existing interior.
The roof of the new extension will be sedum, providing visual amenity from the upper floors, and reducing the impact on neighbouring properties, whilst the house itself will include a whole-house ventilation system.
